Supporting the
“Honoring the Hands” Project
The Honoring the Hands Project has thus far been supported by funding from Hudson River HealthCare, the National Center for Farmworker Health, the Geiger Gibson Program of George Washington University School of Public Health, and by many individual contributions. As the Project has grown into an ongoing, multi-media resource and communication tool, with continually expanding content, utilizing film, photography, and a professionally designed, interactive website, there is a need to grow our financial support as well. We therefore ask you to make as generous a contribution as you can.
As an added inducement, we are offering, while supplies last, the one-of-a-kind Honoring the Hands 2009 calendar for a contribution of $25 or more. Produced by our design team, the calendar is an artistically original, stunningly beautiful tribute to the growers, chefs, and restaurateurs whose creative genius has made the Hudson Valley one of America’s great culinary domains. And with the holidays on the horizon, you might want to consider feeding two birds with the same seed by making a contribution to Honoring the Hands, and giving a lucky friend or loved one a calendar that is a work of art.
Honoring the Hands calendars are also available for corporate giving—please contact us at donations@honoringthehands.com for more information.
