“The last thing I wanted to be was a dumb, poor farmer because it was such a backbreaking job, but I fell in love with it - my passion for growing food. But a greater passion that society doesn’t recognize, and I feel for ‘em, is that when you’re out in the field, working in the soil, I always say that God granted me as a custodian of the most precious natural resource he has, which is our water and our soil, so that is the greatest reward.”
