Anne Nolon

Anne Kauffman Nolon has provided vision and leadership to Hudson River HealthCare (HRHCare) since 1977. As President and CEO she is responsible for the development and direction of this not-for profit community and migrant health center, which has grown from a single primary care site in Peekskill to a network of twelve health centers, and a regional migrant voucher program, serving a nine-county area in southeastern NY State. With the guidance of the Board of Directors, Mrs. Nolon has implemented broad programmatic, clinical, management and administrative goals that have culminated in staff growth from 12 to over 400, an increase in patient visits from 2,400 to over 170,000 encounters annually, and financial growth from a $125,000 budget to $28 million in 2005. Mrs. Nolon has been elected for five terms to the Community Health Care Association of New York State (CHCANYS) Board of Directors, and is a member of the National Association of Community Health Centers (NACHC), where she has served as Chair of the Farmworker Committee, Chair of the Homeless Health Care Committee and Vice Chair of the Legislative Committee. Mrs. Nolon has served two terms as the chair of the National Center for Farmworker Health and is currently serving, by appointment of the Secretary of HHS to the National Advisory Council on Migrant Health. Mrs Nolon received her Master's Degree in Public Health at Columbia University, and her B.S. in Healthy Policy and Planning from Pennsylvania State University.
